Novumed further strengthening its team

Munich, 1. April 2005 - The Munich based strategy consulting firm for the life science industry, Novumed GmbH, has further strengthened its team with the appointment of Dr. XY (name changed for competitive reasons) as strategy consultant.

Dr. XY is a highly qualified professional with extensive industry and business experience from other life science companies. His previous posts include Head of Laboratory and Head of Business Development at the Swiss chemical companies Thales Technologies AG and CarboGen AG. In addition, Dr. XY gained consulting experience at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Düsseldorf. "As a chemist with biological focus I am enthusiastic about focusing my work on the life science industry and using the business knowledge gained through my MBA at INSEAD" said Dr. XY. After a professional training programme at international chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli AG, Dr. XY studied chemistry and biotechnology at Technikum Winterthur, Switzerland. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Calgary, Canada and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. In addition, Dr. XY spent many years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, one of the most prestigious chemical institutions in the US.
